Rural Missions

New Faces at Rural Mission!

Some new friends have come to us and a long time friend has returned!

We share in Linda Fasig's joy that she has returned to the staff at the Rural Mission. She has meant a great deal to us, to our volunteer workteams and to the families we serve during her past time with the Mission. We are so grateful to have her back. She will join Anderson Mack, Jr. and Viola Moore in helping to make the Housing Workcamp program run smoothly. She will no doubt contribute in many other ways. All will enjoy her wonderful smile and encouraging words.

Also joining the Mission for the summer are three SIM students from the S.C. Conference of the United Methodist Church. These college students are Kristi Baker from Spartanburg who is a student at USC Upstate, Clement Twumasi who is from Ghana and attends Claflin College, and Andrew Wilson who is from Greenwood and attends Winthrop. Kristi will be assisting with the migrant children at the Mission and Clement and Andrew will be assisting in Housing Workcamp.
